Mancera Comes Up Short In a War With Galeano!

UBG’s Alex Mancera (8-6-1 5KO’s) went a hard six rounds with undefeated prospect Chris “Golden” Galeano (6-0) infront of a packed house at B.B. Kings Bar and Grill in Times Square, NYC. Cut badly over both eyes Mancera never stopped trying to pull out the win but his activity came on too late, we still cheer on our man as he recovers from his cuts and we look forward to seeing him back in the ring as soon as he heals up. UBG STAND UP!

“In an evenly matched bout, Christopher Galeano and Alexander Mancera both fought to the very end in their 6 round middleweight fight. Galeano started off fighting on the back foot but commanded attention as he used his superior reach to fend off any advance by Mancera. As Galeano safely stored the rounds, Mancera sought to seal a KO but was unable to make his power shots count as he struggled to get his rhythm going. Later on in the sixth round, Mancera and Galeano both clashed heads, causing a severe cut above Mancera’s right eye. Both fighters maintained their composure to see out the fight. Eventually the judges settled the matter and awarded the fight to Galeano by way of 59-55, 59-55. Galeano moves to 6-0 while Mancera drops to 7-6-1 (5 KOs).”- Arvin Nundloll
