This past Wednesday night at B.B. Kings Bar & Grill in Times Square New York, we were supposed to see another victory from the Young All Star DeVaun “Unique” Lee, however what ensued over the six rounds on the under card of Lou Dibella’s Broadway Boxing event only painted half of the picture. The first round would see the longer and smarter Lee establish a jab and dodge most of the punches from his younger foe, Steed Woodall would find a hard time getting to his target and had no answer early on for the swift body and foot movement. Continuing on through the second round Lee frequently found his mark with the jab and looked to be winning the bout with mostly just his left hand as Woodall, signed by DBE Promotions; aggressively stalked “Unique” but couldn’t put more than one good punch at a time together. Originally posted on Young All Star:

After a lengthy camp that started right after his last victory, DeVaun “Unique” Lee has left no stone unturned as he prepared for the biggest fight of his young career as he faces off against the undefeated Steed Woodall of the United Kingdom. The always fit and ready Young All Star weighed in ripped at 161.6 lbs while his opponent also matched his weight at 161.6 lbs making it as even as can be on paper, but the difference is the hard work and the unique ability of DeVaun Lee that he plans to show tomorrow in front of all the fight fans at B.B. Kings Bar & Grill in Times Square New York City. The work is over, the talk is over, now it’s just fight time…see you there! YASSSSSSS!!!!

It’s time once again for DeVaun “Unique” Lee (4-1 2 KO’s) to show up and show out as he takes on the undefeated Steed Woodall (7-0-1 5 KO’s) in a six round bout July 8th at the B.B. Kings Bar and Grill in Times Square on DiBella Entertainment’s Broadway Boxing series. Having started camp just after his last victory was earned, a very motivated Lee is looking to not just prove all his naysayers wrong, but he plans to show that he is one of the most talented and hard working up and comers. Woodall is a young fighter who comes with a few accolades from his amateur days in the United Kingdom and has turned that in to a decent professional career thus far; but we plan to change that. Tickets are already for sale and are priced at $55, all tickets can be purchased by either emailing UBGNYC@Gmail.com…

Danny “El Gallo” Gonzalez Easily Defeats Carl McNickles

Originally posted on Danny "El Gallo" Gonzalez:

Last night Star Boxing’s Danny “El Gallo” Gonzalez moved his record to 9-0-1 3 KO’s with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Carl McNickles now 8-9 6 KO’s. From the start Gonzalez was able to out box, out maneuver, and out punch McNickles who couldn’t find an answer or land many punches adding a new wrinkly to the game of the young fighter known as “El Gallo”. Over six rounds Gonzalez was able to clip his opponent and keep him off balance hurting him with left hooks and body shots that had him reeling over the last two rounds. When it was all said and done scores were read as 60-54 59-55 59-55 all in favor of the still undefeated Danny Gonzalez who looks to get back in the ring as soon as possible to continue his success. Thank you for all your support, stay tuned for more pictures in…
